Organising a major event like today is very easy, you just sit back and everything seems to happen. I just ask the odd question like ‘How Much???’ and put forward the odd point for serious debate, like ‘we could’ve had the village hall for £50, I know one of the parish councillors, and, we could’ve got the bucks-fizz from Netto.’ But it was always met with ‘Dad – go with the flow, me and Mum know best.’

I would like to say that Linda is looking wonderful today. She's had a hard week leading up to the wedding, not many people know this but she actually had her credit card stolen on Monday. Paul is not reporting it to the police because whoever nicked it is spending less than her!
