Before I propose a toast to our bride and groom, I would like them both to say just one short phrase each that they can remember all their married lives, which should help remind them both of their obligations and the roles they will play in the coming years. Paul, will you repeat after me, ‘I'm sorry dear, I was wrong’. And Linda, will you repeat after me, ‘Don't worry dear, it doesn't matter’. |

I started planning this speech six months ago, and you must feel like I have been delivering it equally as long, but now it gives me immense pleasure, not to mention relief, to invite you all to stand and raise your glasses in a toast to Paul and Linda. |
