There’s something about this groom’s smile. He’s the sort of bloke the expression ‘cheeky chappie’ was invented for. So, while we’re sure he is just as happy as the next man to put the hours in at work, we think you can take his boast about being super-hardworking with a generous pinch of salt. It’s a nice way to give his father some recognition, and the self-deprecating subtext of his joke is classic speech material. Of course, we could be wrong.
